Misery | Stephen King
Title: Misery
Author: Stephen King
If you like the movie, you'll love this book. It's fun to picture James Caan and Kathy Bates as you read this, and as great a job as Kathy Bates does in the movie, the character in the book is a completely different level of crazy. I guess it's hard to fit all of this stuff into a two hour movie, but the things that she does to him...whew! It was gruesome but not so gruesome that I couldn't read it. I have a notoriously weak stomach. It was very suspenseful, though, and if you're looking for a good October read, I highly recommend this one.
Five out of five stars, no question.
